Meet Your Host

Susan Blum, MD, MPH

Susan Blum, MD, MPH

I have experienced first-hand what many of my patients have – pain. A few years ago I developed Arthritis and more than a decade ago, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, an autoimmune disease where the body attacks the thyroid. By following the exact same Functional Medicine and lifestyle principles I prescribe to my patients, I was able to cure myself of both these conditions. I approach my work using a groundbreaking whole body perspective known as Functional Medicine. This means that I get to the root causes of why people get sick beyond the symptoms and identify the steps to help them get healthy. There’s so much people can do to feel great.
